We provide items made from Indonesian traditional textile , we make our own Shibori Tie Dye fabric for supply in fat quarters or by the yard and also create items including home decor , Resort Wear clothing , accessories and bags from the fabric we create , also we supply vintage fabric silk scarves and sarongs, some beautiful enough to be collectible and mount on the wall in a frame. Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, or cloth made using this technique. Batik is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called a canting and is called 'Tulis' meaning to "write" (Javanese pronunciation also spelled tjanting), or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap and is hand printed. (Javanese pronunciation, also spelled tjap). Some fabrics are created by using a mix of both Tulis and Tjap.
The applied wax resists dyes and therefore allows the artisan to colour selectively by soaking the cloth in one colour, removing the wax with boiling water, and repeating if multiple colours are desired. Traditional (hand-crafted) textile (traditionally and ethically made) textile from around the many Islands of Indonesia , specifically Java and Bali , woven cloth (ikat) textile, hand painted Batik & hand-embroidered textile.
